Unlocking Teacher Potential through the Common Core
The Department of Education awarded EL Education a coveted “investing in innovation” (i3) grant based on our highly rated application. Through the i3 grant, we will provide workshops and institutes, onsite coaching, online learning, and models of student work to participating schools in order to support and study the impact of EL's curriculum on student achievement and teacher retention.
Who We Are
To create classrooms where teachers can fulfill their highest aspirations, and students achieve more than they think possible, becoming active contributors to building a better world.
When students and teachers are engaged in work that is challenging, adventurous and meaningful, learning and achievement flourish.
EL Education schools inspire the motivation to learn, engage teachers and students in new levels of focus and effort, and transform schools into places where students and adults become leaders of their own learning. We provide a model that challenges students - even those starting with low skill levels - with high level tasks and active roles in the classroom. This model succeeds in urban, rural, and suburban schools and at every grade level.
